Dakota Fanning Gets Tattooed on  'Lopez Tonight'
Confessing that her mother made her signed a contract that says she would never get a tattoo, the star of 'The Runaways' breaks the promise when meeting Kat Von D on the George Lopez's show.
has broken her mother's "No Tattoo" rule when appearing on "Lopez Tonight". On Monday night, March 22, the 16-year-old actress admitted to host George Lopez that she is a fan of "LA Ink" star Kat Von D, and got surprised when the tattoo artist came to join her and got her skin inked.

Taking Dakota to the backstage, Kat gave the teen star a temporary tattoo, which design includes a picture of a cherry bomb and the actress' name, on her right hand. "I love it, I really love it," the star of "" expressed her thought on her new body art. Knowing that the tattoo will wash off, Kat gave the actress a framed design as a keepsake.

Before meeting Kat Von D, Dakota confessed to George that she and her mom has made a pact about her not getting a tattoo. "When I was 11 she made me sign a contract and it said, 'I will not ever get a tattoo...,' " she recalled about the promise. "I had to sign my name, and my sister had to do the same thing."

Dakota Fanning takes on the role of rocker Cherie Currie in all-girl band biopic "The Runaways". She is joined by her "Twilight Saga" co-star , who plays bandmate/co-founder Joan Jett. The movie has got its limited release in the U.S. on March 19, and will go wide on April 9.
