Cheryl Cole has hit the number one spot once again as she is the most searched for celebrity on mobile phones.

Cheryl Cole has been named as the star that is most searched for by people surfing the net on their mobile phones.

Beating other celebs such as Miley Cyrus and Robert Pattinson to the top spot, the Girls Aloud singer is as popular as ever.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was hot on Cheryl's heels but come in at a respectable number two in the most-searched for charts.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson, who is currently dating co-star Kristen Stewart, was placed third in the hall of fame.

Other celebs in the running included Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, actress Vanessa Hudgens and designer Lindsay Lohan.

The popularity poll which was put together by the Orange Digital Media Index also found pop princess Cheryl to be Queen of the downloaded music and video charts, leaving Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas trailing behind.
