K-Stew and R-Pattz on Breaking Dawn

Twilight's Kristen Stewart says it would be "heartbreaking" to have to cut down the story of Breaking Dawn to fit it into one movie - but Robert Pattinson doesn't seem so bothered.

The 23-year-old actor - who recently told a newspaper he and Kristen, 19, are a real life couple - was asked by E! News at the New York press junket for his new movie Remember Me how he felt about the fourth and final movie being split into two.

He shrugged: "I don't mind either way."

Stephanie Meyer's final book in the Twilight series is the longest and includes weddings, babies, final showdowns, and some romantic scenes between Robert and Kristen's characters.

The Hollywood Reporter recently claimed stars Kristen, Robert and Taylor Lautner have yet to sign up for the final movie as details are in negotiation.

Kristen explained: "Breaking Dawn is definitely happening but whether or not it's two (movies) is still in question - it's so out of my hands but I feel like it deserves two."

She said two movies, like Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, would do the story justice and keep fans satisfied.
