Yes, Jackson was THAT happy to perform with his band, 100 Monkeys, in Chicago on March 5th.
For those of you who have never seen the band play, not only is their music a jazzy-bluesy / alternative mix, but every member plays multiple instruments! At one point Jackson was on the keyboard and was holding a trumpet in his hand, switching back and forth. This group is extremely versatile and while I recommend seeing them for their music, the pure amazement of watching them all switch instruments is worth a ticket as well. Here are a few pictures of the band, including Jackson, on different instruments:
The crowd was really enjoying the music and having a great time (see below). There was even a young girl there (about 10 years old) on her sister's shoulder. I had a hunch, so I asked her after the concert was over if she liked "Jasper". She gave me a big smile and a nod. That's dedication. It was after midnight.
And what 100 Monkeys concert would be complete without Marty, the Bananager. I actually got to dance with him (or in his case, jump around with him)! He's a happy, bouncing, quick moving guy (not to mention super-nice), so the pictures are pretty blurry.
And finally, for all you Jackson Rathbone fans, here is a full gallery for you to enjoy!
